| Biography |
James E. Lund was born in California in 1951, attended
Palomar Junior College, received a Bachelor's Degree from Brigham Young
University in Economics in 1976, and graduated cum laude from Brigham
Young University Law School in 1979. Mr. Lund began his law career with the prestigious law firm of
Higgs, Fletcher & Mack and practiced with them from 1979 through
1981. Mr. Lund was briefly associated with the law firm of White, Singleton,
Ronquillo & Lounsbery, and then opened his own firm in April of
1982. Mr. Lund practices primarily in business and real estate
matters. He has been on the Superior Court arbitration list for 19
years and has acted as a Judge Pro Tem both in the municipal court
and superior
court. He was the chairman of the Business Law Section of the North
County Bar Association for a total of 4-1/2 years. He has been a requested
lecturer for real estate and business MCLE programs and has published
several articles in legal publications. Mr. Lund is currently serving on the board of directors
for several public service organizations and corporations, including
the Bar Association. He has served on the Escondido
Elementary School Board, American Red Cross Board, City of Escondido Franchise
Commission, and Escondido Chamber of Commerce Board of
Directors.

| Legal Experience |
Mr. Lund has over 25 years experience in civil litigation and transactional
work in the business and real property areas. Civil litigation experience
in the business area includes unfair competition, employment issues,
fraud and tort claims, collection actions, and business disputes. Real
property
litigation
experience includes
property damage, defense of design professionals,
construction defects, easements and encroachments, quiet title, partition,
commercial and residential purchase, sale, and escrow, foreclosures,
receiverships, commercial leases, mechanics liens, failures to perform,
design defects,
surety issues, and unlawful detainers. Bankruptcy litigation experience
is limited to creditors, relief from stay actions and dischargeability
complaints. Business transactional work includes corporate and partnership
formation, operation, and dissolution, business acquisitions and sales
including asset and stock sales, and employment issues. Real property transactional
experience includes commercial, industrial and residential purchase
and sale, escrow, financing matters, commercial and residential leases,
title
and title insurance issues, debt restructuring, operation and management
issues, breach of warranty, hidden defect, and real estate broker
malpractice.

| Biography |
Nathan Low has been an attorney
since 1996, when as a second career, he finished law school at the University
of San Diego School of Law, passed the California Bar Examination, and was
admitted to the practice of law in California. Prior to entering law school,
Mr. Low worked in management of a West Coast retail grocery chain. Mr. Low
graduated from California State University Long Beach in 1983 with a BA degree
in bilingual education, and entered law school in 1993.
During his course of study at the University of San Diego School of Law,
Mr. Low was hired by the university’s Department of Academic Support
to tutor first-year law students in the areas of criminal and real property
law.
Prior to joining our firm Mr. Low worked with two San Diego firms specializing
in employment litigation in state and federal courts, and in other forums
such as the Merit Systems Protection Board and other internal governmental
agencies and departments such as the U.S. Navy, the Equal Employment Opportunity
Commission, and the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing.
Mr. Low is a member of the Mira Mesa Town Council and has been active
in local Boy Scout troops in various leadership and support capacities
since 1990.

Mr.
Low’s primary practice areas include business, real property,
landlord-tenant, employment and general tort and contract litigation,
and transaction work in the areas of business, real property,
and employment. Mr. Low assists clients through all phases of
litigation including mediation, arbitration, and trial. Mr. Low
also reviews, updates, and prepares contracts, leases, notices,
employee handbooks, and similar documents.

Nathan Low is a member of the
California State Bar and the Bar Association of North San Diego County,
and a past member of the Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr. Chapter of the American
Inns of Court. Mr. Low has served as the Chairman of the Real Property
Section of the North County
Bar Association for the past two years.

| Publications and Speaking Engagements |
Mr. Low has been invited on two
occasions to be a seminar presenter for the National Business Institute
MCLE program on the topic of unlawful detainer actions and procedure. In
2003 he prepared and gave a two-hour presentation on "Commercial Unlawful
Detainers in California" for the National Business Institute, and
in 2004 he gave a four-hour presentation on an overview of unlawful detainer
procedure and related landlord tenant issues. Mr. Low has also given several
one-hour seminars to members of the North County Bar Association on the
topic of unlawful detainer actions and landlord-tenant issues.

Mr. Low speaks Spanish fluently,
having studied it at the university level and traveled extensively
